Speedweek

This past week was a great way to kick off the 2014 racing season!  Five races starting in Athens, GA and eventually making our way to Gaffney, SC to conclude USA Crits Speedweek. 

The highlights:

Racing crits after a long off-season.  Felt great to be out there again for SKINourishment p/b Paceline Projects.  Gambler's prime was a nice added bonus.  (women's race starts about an hour in... at 1:52 you can check out the prime and the finish of the race.)

Spending time with awesome folks and four-legged friends. 

Fun school visit with Fearless Feme.  The kids taught me a new dance move which I plan on busting out at the Glencoe Grand Prix post-race block party. 

The food mention.....Strawberries...

My study buddy... studying for final exams and racing Speedweek wasn't exactly easy...I appreciated her company.   



Good birthday times.  Love those crazy peppers and I dig my new saucy shirt.  



It's that time of year....

Now that the racing season is underway... I'm back online.  It's been quite an off-season! 

The fall: A little hiking, a little mountain biking, and some Ameerah love. 

 

 

Then winter: lots of skiing...

With an occasional riding adventure thrown into the mix...

 

 

That pretty much sums up the last 7 months or so.  Now for the 2014 crit racing season!  Excited to be back with so many great sponsors for this year and very thankful to them.  Off to Atlanta, GA tonight for the first official race of my season...
