What do you do for training when it's barely above freezing? Two-a-day trainer rides, gym, run, snow hikes, and snowshoe. I do lack ski equipment unlike many Colorado friends, but I've found snowshoeing to be an excellent training alternative when it's snowing at home on the weekend and the idea of 4 hours on the trainer makes you go crazy. It's crazy in just under 8 weeks, Kat and I will be kicking off our season with our first race in Tucson, Arizona...it's really crazy especially since the high today is 18* here.
