Introducing the SKINourishment p/b Paceline Projects Team...
Lindsay Fox
Lindsay was born in Missouri, grew up swimming in WI, and raced triathlons. In 2009, she decided to drop swimming and running (can't say I blame her!) and focused on racing bikes. She's been racing ever since! She now lives in AZ and won the 2013 AZ State Crit Championship. Her off the bike interests include spending time with her family, doing anything outdoors, and reading.
Favorite Ride: "Riding around Mt Hood in Oregon...90 mile route with 9,000 feet of climbing and spectacular views of the mountain the whole time"
Favorite Place: "my grandma's house"
Favorite Food: "oatmeal"
Alison Frye
Alison is from Salt Lake City, UT. She was introduced to riding through centuries. Alison then progressed to even longer endurance rides. (Yikes!) She dabbled in a few UCA races and eventually was racing just about any race she could enter. She has over 12 top 5 finishes so far this 2014 season and is a two time winner of the Utah State Championship. Off the bike, she enjoys knitting, gardening, and skiing Utah's fine powder.
Favorite Ride: "Col de la Madeliene"
Favorite Place: "Anywhere I can put my feet up and relax."
Laura Howat
Laura is from Williamsville, NY but has lived in Salt Lake City, UT for decades. Laura was thrilled to find cycling in her late teens- a sport in which she could finally beat her "overbearing older brother." Laura's words! Not mine! :) Laura raced in the 1988 Tour de France Feminine, has 3 National Masters Championship Titles, and she has won 8 Utah State Championships. Her off the bike interests include spending time with her family, working at the University of Utah and gardening.
Favorite Ride: "Vuelta de Colombia"
Favorite Place: "France"
I'm from MA, but have lived in Salt Lake City, UT for several years now and I'm happy to call UT home. I was introduced to bikes at Dartmouth College in 2005 and haven't stopped racing. My off the bike interests include Nordic skiing, avoiding tan lines, making tasty food, and eating tasty food.
I'm going to stick to UT answers for these next few in honor of the Tour of Utah races...
Favorite Ride: Millcreek Canyon.
Favorite Place: Again, Millcreek Canyon.
